Her chimera face—with the beautiful mix of colors and her unique pattern—perfectly represents her complexity and strength. 🖤🧡

For Nori’s portrait, I chose to paint her perched atop an Amanita mushroom, a symbol of magic, mystery, and transformation. 🍄✨ The Amanita mushroom is known for its bold colors and its connection to the mystical realms, making it the perfect symbol for Nori. Gimli has a special feature which lead to his name: the reddish tint around his collar that looks like a “red beard”—just like Gimli from Lord of the Rings! His beard may not be made of fire, but it’s the perfect fit for this little guy’s adventurous, bold spirit. 🔥

Gimli is a silly, clumsy, and vocal companion who never fails to make us laugh every day. Whether he’s chasing us through the house, getting into trouble, or meowing for attention, he’s always up to something! He may not always land the way he plans, but he always lands on his paws when it comes to winning our hearts.

In this portrait, I’ve also included a jade plant, a symbol of growth, resilience, and good luck—qualities that perfectly reflect Gimli’s journey. From his rescue in Egypt to finding his forever home, Gimli has shown incredible strength and brought so much positive energy into our lives. 🌱✨
